FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) – Officials with the city of Frisco said they can’t explain a significant increase in red-light camera tickets there in the past year.  Compared to a year ago, the number of drivers caught by the city’s four red-light cameras is up 59 percent, according to police records.  Police Chief John Bruce pointed out the 59 percent increase in red-light camera summons to city council Tuesday night, but when asked Wednesday to explain the increase, the department couldn’t.

The reason these people can 't explain such a huge jump in red light camera violations is because they don't understand the core flaw in our safety plan (guessing at the yellow) which is responsible for causing all law abiding citizens to run red lights (sooner or later we all guess wrong).

We invite Chief Bruce to contact us to discuss reasons why it's a crime that all the money from these camera citations isn't used to research and develop aids to navigation that drivers need to perfectly time the onset of red and know with great precision when it's safe to stop and when it's safe to go at the onset of yellow.
